Tinhof Noir Zweigelt

£19.10

Erwin is the 11th generation of the Tinhof family making wine in the sub-region of Leithaberg, Burgenland located in Austria’s south-east corner close to the border with Hungary. Organically certified for a number of years Erwin likes to promote indigenous grapes like Neuburger, Blaufrankisch and Zweigelt. When we met Erwin’s nephew Lukas (who assists Erwin in making the wine) we were very impressed with the fruit purity and sheer drinkability of the whites and reds.

A delicious blend of Zweigelt, Blaufrankisch and St. Laurent. Cherry and cranberry with spicy notes and soft approachable tannins. Its juicy core has won a lot of fans. This is for fans of Pinot Noir or Beaujolais. Drinks well with a slight chill in warmer weather.
