Amity Pinot Blanc

£22.00

A product of his final vintage as owner, iconoclast Myron Redford sold his historic Oregon brand last year to Ryan Harms of Union Wine Company. Among Harms’ stated goals for Amity is to continue to promote the varieties that Redford championed, including this lesser-appreciated Burgundian grape that he grafted over from Chardonnay decades ago. Aromas of nectarine, jicama, potato flour and minerality lead to flavors of Bosc pear, starfruit and more jicama. The finish of clementine, wet stone, brine and peach skin makes for an ideal pairing with quiche, grilled basa or pasta in creamy sauces.
