Chieftain Lazy Day is a deliciously tasty aromatic of Vanilla and Mango with some citrus fruit. It’s the Black Cavendish, Burley and Virginia, some of it coarse cut, that carry the flavours so well. The blend is mild to medium strength in nicotine with the added flavourings at just the right level of punchiness. They are natural tasting and mildly sweet. There’s some nutty earthiness to be had from the tobaccos, alongside a little grassy hay citrus that is complimented by the added fruity aroma. With a pipe full, easily lit, you can relax into the smoke and gently meditate away your time. Mango that has hints of floral, sweet vanilla alongside the citrus, tastes clean and uplifting. As the pipe is smoked further, the earthy nuttiness becomes more apparent, though the topping never subsides. The flavours become creamier as you approach the finish.
